2.1 Features
The Haas Bar Feeder has a heavy-duty, compact design, with capacity for bars from 3/8"
(10 mm) to 3 1/8" (79 mm) in diameter. Refer to the Haas web site at www.HaasCNC.com
for more dimensions and information.
Before you use your Haas Bar Feeder, take some time to become familiar with some of the
features that are different from previous-generation Haas Bar Feeders. Refer to the
Operation chapter of this manual for more information on how these features work.
F2.1: Haas Bar Feeder Features Overview
1. High-Speed, Belt-Driven Bar Pusher: This mechanism quickly, smoothly, and
accurately feeds bar stock into your lathe.
2. Quick-Change Push Rod: Lets you change push rods quickly and easily, without tools
and no need for alignment.
3. Front-Mounted Transfer Tray Height-Adjustment Wheel: Lets you adjust the transfer
tray height on the lathe-spindle end of the Bar Feeder, for faster and easier setup.
4. Setup Mode Release Pedal: Use this pedal to release the Bar Feeder and slide it back
into Lathe Set Up mode.
5. Extruded Spindle Liner Storage Racks: Store your spindle liners here for easy access.
