
Check periodically that all screws are tight and also
check the condition of the protective equipment.
The drive belt tension must be rechecked after a few
hours of use to correct slackening. To check the tension,
press the belt inwards in the centre, using a load up to

3-4 kg. The belt deflection should not exceed 5-6 mm.
Loosen nut.
The tension of the belt can be adjusted by tightening
or loosening the nut.
Screw nut on again.
It is important that the belts are always correctly ten-
sioned, as belts which are too loose will weaken the
drive power and the impact of the brakes. Belts which
are too tight will lead to overheating.
