Terminals and Boxes
Types of Terminals
The SmartCom VT software can run with 2 main types of display Terminals.
ISOBUS Terminals With Buttons
ISO Terminals with physical function buttons, e.g. the shown Massey
Ferguson terminal.
Conventional or touch screen and physical buttons.
Function buttons are graphical but are operated by physical
buttons on the terminal.
The software runs as a Virtual Terminal (VT) into the terminal
software.
ISOBUS Terminals Without Buttons
HARDI HC 8600/8700, HC 9600/9700 or similar ISO terminals with
touchscreen interface. The HC 8600 is shown here.
Touchscreen and no buttons (except ON/OFF).
Function buttons are graphical and operated by pressing the
touch screen.
The SmartCom software runs as a Virtual Terminal (VT) into the
Terminal software. This is called Universal Terminal (UT) at the
HARDI HC 8600 and HC 9600 Terminals.
