You should use either the VGA output port or the RGB SCART connection to your desired analogue
video monitor. Once the VGA scaler is switched off the VGA output may be outside the range that
your VGA monitor can display. A modern flat panel LCD with VGA input will often display ‘out of
range’.
If you have a multi sync monitor you may be able to see the output, but as stated the VGA and
SCART outputs should not be used at the same time.
If you do have the VGA scaler enabled for the analogue output it is also highly unlikely that the
SCART device / TV will display this signal correctly.
HDMI+VGA or HDMI+SCART can both be used together.
Please also be aware that each MiSTer core can override the MiSTer.INI settings, so check that the
VGA scaler and scan doubler are switched off if you wish to use RGB SCART output.
