Ÿ Pull the choke knob (4) out all the way to
fully “ON” position (A).

Ÿ Turn the ignition switch (3) to "ON".

NOTE
The vehicle is equipped with bystarter system.
Do not accelerate while starting the engine by
using an electric starter or kick starter.

RIDING
During this period, avoid full-throttle starts
and rapid acceleration.
Ensure your vehicle's future reliability and
performance by paying extra attention to how
you ride during the first 500 km.
RUNNING-IN
With the throttle closed, operate the kick
starter with a rapid and continuous motion.
Ÿ Rotate the throttle 1/8-1/4 turn (C).
Ÿ Use kick starter:
Ÿ Use starter switch:
Warm engine
With the throttle closed, press the starter
switch.
Ÿ Do not use the choke.
Ÿ Continue warming up the engine until it
runs smoothly and responds to the throttle,
when the choke knob is at “OFF” position
(B).
Ÿ Start the engine.
