Always follow the proper starting procedure
described below. This vehicle has an
automatic fuel valve and option to fit a side
stand and side stand switch.
STARTING THE ENGINE
Operate the kick starter or electric starter
switch for slightly longer than usual without
opening the throttle if the vehicle has been left
standing for a long time or when the fuel tank
has just been refilled.

Your vehicle's exhaust contains poisonous
carbon monoxide gas. High levels of carbon
monoxide can collect rapidly in enclosed areas
such as a garage. Do not run the engine with

Do not use the electric starter for more than 5
seconds at a time. Release the starter switch
for approximately 10 seconds before pressing
it again.
Ÿ Park the vehicle on its main stand.
Ÿ Lock the rear wheel by pressing the
integrated brake lever (1) and locking
the parking lever (2 ).
The electric starter will only work when the
integrated or front brake lever is operated.

Even with the door open, run the engine only
long enough to move your vehicle out of the
garage.

CAUTION
!!
Do not attempt to start the engine and run the
vehicle without a battery. This may lead to
electrical and electronic components failure.
Ÿ Contact with the rotating rear wheel can
injure you.
Ÿ Set the parking lever when the vehicle is on
its main stand.
