Ÿ After cleaning, rinse the vehicle thoroughly
with plenty of clean water. Strong detergent
residue can corrode alloy parts.
Ÿ Dry the vehicle with pressurized air, start
the engine and let it run for several minutes.
NOTE
Ÿ Take care to keep brake fluid or chemical
solvents off the vehicle. They will damage
the plastic and painted surfaces.
Ÿ The inside of the headlamp lens may be
clouded immediately after washing the
vehicle. Moisture condensation inside the
headlamp lens will disappear gradually by
lighting the headlamp in high beam.
Ÿ Test the brakes before riding the vehicle.
Several applications may be necessary to
restore normal braking performance.
TEST BRAKES
Ÿ Anticipate longer stopping distance to avoid
a possible accident.
Ÿ Braking efficiency may be temporarily
impaired immediately after washing the
vehicle.
