C.1 TFT Protection Film Replacement
The following instructions apply for Protection Film replacement for both the 2.4” TFT on the Nova L and the 4.3” TFT on Nova
XXL transmitters. The steps are to be followed cautiously so as not to incur any scratches/damage to the TFT screen or
transmitter.
Items required:
• New protection film depending on the TFT screen size
• Flat smooth-edged tool to remove air bubbles
• Lint-free cloth
Instructions:
1. Remove the protection film to be replaced.
2. Check that the display is free from scratches and dents before the new protective film is to be applied.
3. Use the lint-free cloth to clean the surface of the display from any dust, grease or particles.
4. Peel the protective blue tab backing and position the screen protector to centre it on the display.
5. Use the smoothing tool to remove any bubbles trapped under the film by pushing them towards the nearest edge. Care must
be taken so as not to scratch the upper protecting film.
