Marking by the symbol indicates compliance of this system to the applicable Council Directives of the European Union,
including the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2004/108/EC) and the Low Voltage Directive (2006/95/EC). A
“Declaration of Conformity” in accordance with the applicable directives has been made and is on le at HGST Europe.

interference-causing equipment standard entitled “Digital Apparatus,” ICES-003 of the Canadian Department of
Communications.
