Why won't the compressor start on my HiDew Dehumidifier?

  If your HiDew Dehumidifier compressor isn't starting, there might be a few reasons: 1. The internal thermo-protector might have intervened. Unplug the unit, let the compressor cool, and then plug it back in to see if it restarts. Also, try to identify and eliminate the cause of the intervention. 2. The humidity set value might be preventing it from turning on. Try setting a different humidity level. 3. The ambient temperature could be too low. Ensure the room is above 12°C, or above 5°C if your unit has an optional hot gas defrost.

  If your HiDew Dehumidifier isn't starting, here are a few things to check: * Make sure the unit is receiving electrical power by checking the power supply terminals. * Verify that the electronic board is getting power by checking the terminal boards. * See if any alarms are present on the terminal, address the causes, and then restart the unit. * If you have models 210, 230, and 300, check that the sequence of phases is correct.
