10.5.1 Regional People Counng (People Number Management)
It counts people in a predened area and detects people number changes and crowded situaon.
When the people number excepon or waing me excepon occurs, the device can trigger an
alarm.
Refer to Set People Density to set people density detecon.
Refer to Set People Excepon Detecon to set people excepon detecon.
Refer to Waing Time Excepon Detecon to set waing me excepon detecon.
Set People Density
This funcon detects the level of people density in the set rule region.
Before You Start
●
Go to VCA → Select
Applicaon , select People Management and click Next to enable the
funcon.
●
For the device
supporng HEOP, go to VCA to import and enable People Management.
Steps
1.
Go to VCA → Set Applicaon → People Management → People Number Management → Rule .
2.
Click Add to add a rule and set its name.
3.
Set a rule.
People Number OSD
It displays the
real-me people number in the live view window. You can drag the mouse to
adjust the OSD window
locaon.
Note
People density detecon (people density alarm) does not support Alarm Times Per Excepon,
Alarm Interval and First Alarm Delay sengs.
4.
Click to draw a region in the live view window, le click the end-points in the live view
window to
dene the boundary of the set rule region, and right click to nish drawing.

Up to 8 regions can be set at the same me.
●
Try not to overlap the regions.
5.
Check People Density Alarm to enable the funcon.
Scheduled Uploading
The device uploads people density informaon within the set stascs cycle.
