Information
Default Metric Specifies the default metric value for OSPF.
Possible values:
0
(default setting)
This value indicates that OSPF automatically assigns a cost of 20 for
routes learned from external sources (static or directly connected).

Send Traps Activates/deactivates the sending of SNMP traps if the OSPF parameters
change.
Possible values:
marked
The device sends an SNMP trap when it detects changes on the
OSPF parameters.
unmarked
(default setting)
The sending of SNMP traps is deactivated.
The prerequisite for sending SNMP traps is that you enable the function in
the
Diagnostics > Status Configuration > Alarms (Traps)
dialog and
specify at least 1 SNMP manager.
Parameters Meaning
ASBR Status Displays if the device functions as an Autonomous System Border Router
(ASBR).
Possible values:
marked
The router is an ASBR.
unmarked
The router functions in a role other than the role of an ASBR.
ABR Status Displays if the device functions as an Area Border Router (ABR).
Possible values:
marked
The router is a ABR.
unmarked
The router functions in a role other than the role of an ABR.
External LSA
Checksum
Displays the link state checksums of the external LSAs contained in the
link state database. This value helps to determine when changes occur in
a link state database of the router, and to compare the link state database
to other routers.
