Status Displays the OSPF interface state.
Possible values:
down
(default setting)
This value indicates that the interface is in the initial state, and the
interface is blocking traffic.
loopback
This value indicates a software or hardware loop back on the interface.
Although the interface blocks packets on the interface, the router LSAs
still advertise the interface address.
waiting
This value applies only to interfaces connected to broadcast and Non-
broadcast Multi-access (NBMA) network types. While in this state, the
router attempts to identify the state of the network DR and BDR by
sending and receiving hello packets. The wait timer determines how
long the interface waits before selecting a DR.
pointTopoint
This value applies only to interfaces connected to point-to-point, point-
to-multipoint, and virtual link network types. While in this state the
interface sends hello packets every "Hello Interval [s]" and to establish
an adjacency with its neighbor.
designatedRouter
This value indicates that the router is the DR for the multi-access
network and establishes adjacencies with the other network routers.
backupaDesignatedRouter
This value indicates that the router is the BDR for the multi-access
network and establishes adjacencies with the other network routers.
otherDesignatedRouter
This value indicates that the router is is only a network participant. The
router establishes adjacencies only with the DR and BDR and tracks its
network neighbors.

Possible values:
Valid IPv4 address (default setting:
0.0.0.0
)
Backup
