13. Trouble-shooting
Symptom
Fluid leaks at the gap be-
tween the valve block and the
valves
Fluid is leaking between the
discharge tube and the valve
Device aspirates air
Possible cause
- Valve loose or damaged
- Discharge tube is loose or
damaged
- Wrong discharge tube used
- Device not primed
- Suction tube loose
- Suction tube or retainer ring
damaged
Solution
- Tighten valves with the wrench or
replace if necessary (see section 10)
Note: After sterilization (see section 9),
suction/discharge/recirculation valves
need to be tightened.
- Mount the original discharge tube
correctly (see section 6.4).
- Use only the original discharge tube.
- Prime the device (see section 7.2).
- Tighten suction tube (see section 6.2).
- Replace section tube (see accessories
spare parts section 15).
