8-8 Periodic Maintenance and Adjustment
Oil and oil filter
Always check the oil level before starting
the ATV. Change the oil at intervals listed
in the Maintenance chart.
Checking oil level
1. Place ATV on a flat surface
2. Remove oil cap (4)
3. Check oil level on the dipstick (3)
4. If oil is below the minimum oil level (2)
add oil until the maximum oil level is
reached (1). Note: Do not fill above
maximum oil level (1).
Oil type: SAE10W-30 or SAE10W-40
