Attempting to clean the Spark Arrestor
while the engine is hot could result in
in severe burn injuries.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARDS
Make sure muffler is cool before
cleaning Spark Arrestor.
Idle Adjustment
To adjust idle speed:
1. Locate the idle adjustment screw (1)
2. Allow the engine to warm up approximately
five minutes
3. With the engine running, turn the idle
adjustment screw in or out (a,b) at small
increments until the correct idle is achieved.
NOTE:
A service center can perform this adjustment.
A diagnostic tachometer is required for this
adjustment.
