In addition, do not set the IP address set for
management module or BMC for LP IP address. If
the IP address for management module is set for
LP IP address, web console would not start. In
addition, if the IP address for BMC is set for LP IP
address, remote console would not start.
Subnet Mask text box Sets the subnet mask.
Default Gateway text box Sets the default gateway.
Set IP addresses and default gateways for LPAR
manager and the management module in the
same network. If they are set in different
networks, LPAR manager may fail to start up or a
communication error may occur after the startup.
When not using Default Gateway, set as 0.0.0.0. If
the field is blank, LPAR manager may fail to start
up.
VNIC system No. text box Sets VNC system No., which is used for creating a
MAC address to prevent the same MAC address
from being used for shared NIC and virtual NIC.
Specify a unique number, among all LPAR
manager systems including Compute Blade Series.

Set a value from 1 to 128.
[Management module firmware version A0145 or
later]
Set 1 or larger. The maximum value depends on
the LPAR manager firmware version.
[LPAR manager firmware is not assigned to the
server blade]
Set a value from 1 to 128.
LP ID text box Defining the ID for LPAR manager authentication.
Set with 16 characters or less. The available
characters are alphanumeric, ~, @, $, #, %, ^, -,
+, =, _, ., [, and ].
As a default, a value which figures omitting "."
from LP IP address follow "LP_" is set.
Time Zone spin box Sets your time zone.
