8. Maintenance
z To maintain the IJ printer in an optimum operating condition, you should perform
the following maintenance programs.
z If you use the JP-K31A ink, other maintenance programs than those described
below are required. See  Section 1.1.1-4, "Ink differences and handling
precautions" (and  Section 1.1.1, "Notes on ink and makeup ink").
8.1 Consumables replacement
Periodically replace the following filters.
z An operating time of 2400 hours is equivalent to one year of operation 8 hours per
day, 25 days per month.
z The minimum availability period for replacement parts (including consumable
parts) are 7 years after termination of production.
z When you order consumable parts, specify the part name and the part code.
