GENERAL INFORMATION
! CAUTION
• Do not use any sprays such as inseccide, lacquer, hair spray or other ammable gases within
approximately 1 meter from the system.
• If circuit breaker or fuse is oen acvated, stop the system and contact your service contractor.
• Do not make service or inspecons tasks by yourself. This works must be performed by qualied
service person.
• Do not put any strange material (scks, etc.) into the air inlet and outlet. These units have high
speed rotang fans and it is dangerous that any object touches them.
• Refrigerant leakage can cause diculty with breathing due to insucient air.
• This appliance must be used only by adult and capable people, having received the technical
informaon or instrucons to handle properly and safely this appliance.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
NOTE
It is recommended to venlate the room every 3 or 4 hours.
1.4 Important noce
• Verify, in accordance with the manuals which appear in the outdoor and indoor units, that all
the informaon required for the correct installaon of the system is included. If this is not the
case, contact your distributor.

• This air condioner has been designed for standard air condioning for human beings. For use
in other applicaons, please contact your Hitachi dealer or service contractor.

• This manual should be considered as a permanent part of the air condioner. This manual gives
a common descripon and informaon for this air condioner which you operate as well as for
other models.
• Check and make sure that the explanaons of each part of this manual correspond to your air
condioner model.
• Refer to the models codicaon to conrm the main characteriscs of your system.
• Operaons modes are controlled by the remote control switch.
