RAS-(2-3)HVRC3 TEST RUN PROCEDURE
TEST RUN FROM OUTDOOR UNIT SIDE
13.1 RAS-(2-3)HVRC3 test run procedure
The procedure of test run from outdoor unit side is indicated below. Seng of this DSW is available
with the power source ON.
! CAUTION
• Do not touch any other electrical parts when operang switches on the PCB.
• Do not aach or detach service cover when the power source for the outdoor unit is ON and the
outdoor unit is operated.
• Turn all pins of DSW1 OFF when the test run operaon is completed.

Test run
 Seng of operaon mode:
Cooling: Set DSW301-1 ON.
Heang: Set DSW301-2 ON.
 Starng test run:
Set DSW301-1 = ON and the operaon is
started aer a few ~20 seconds.
Cooling Heang
 The indoor unit automacally
start to operate when the test
run of the outdoor unit is set.
 The ON/OFF operaon can be
performed from the remote
control switch or DSW301-1 of
the outdoor unit.
 Connuous operaon during
2 hours is performed without
Thermo-OFF.
 NOTE
• TEST RUN operaon me can be
increased depressing the me
switch in the Remote Control.
• If is seng DSW301-3 = ON,
cooling/heang short test run
procedure mode is acvated.
•
Take care that the indoor units start
operaon in accord with the test run
operaon of the outdoor unit.
• The test run is started from the
outdoor unit and stopped from
the remote control switch, the test
run funcon of the remote control
switch is cancelled. However, the
test run funcon of the outdoor unit
is not cancelled.
• In case that the plural indoor units
are connected with one remote
control switch, all the units start
test run operaon at the same me,
therefore, turn the power source
OFF for the indoor units not to
operate test run. In this case, the
“TEST RUN” indicaon of the remote
control switch may icker, and this is
not abnormal.
• The seng of DSW1 is not required
for the test run from the remote
control switch.
