MAINTENANCE
3 Piping connecon
✓ Leakage: Check for the refrigerant leakage at the piping connecon.
4 Cabinet
✓ Stain and lubricaon: Check for any stain and any lubricaon. Remove the stain and the
lubricaon.
✓ Fixing screw: Check for any loosened screw or any lost screw. Fix the loosened screws and
the lost screws.
✓ Insulaon material: Check for any peeled thermal insulator on the cabinet. Repair the
thermal insulator.
5 Electrical equipment
✓ Acvaon: Check for an abnormal acvaon of the magnec contactor the auxiliary relay the
PCB and others.
✓ Line condion: Pay aenon to the working voltage the working amperage and the working
phase balance. Check for any faulty contact that is caused by the loosened terminal
connecons the oxidized contacts the foreign maer and other items. Check the electrical
insulaon resistance.
6 Control device and protecon device
✓ Seng: Do not readjust the seng in the eld unless the seng is maintained at a point that
is dierent from the point listed in the service manual of the unit.
For the outdoor unit
1 Compressor
✓ Sound and vibraon: Check for abnormal sounds and vibraons.
✓ Acvaon: Check that the voltage drop of the power supply line is within 15% at the start
and within 2% during the operaon.
2 Fan
✓ Rotaon: Check the counter clockwise (or Clockwise according to de outdoor unit model)
rotaon and the rotang speed.
3 Reverse valve
✓ Acvaon: Check for any abnormal acvaon sound.
4 Strainer
✓ Clog: Check that there is no temperature dierence between both ends.
5 Ground wire
✓ Ground line: Check for the connuity to earth.
6 Oil heater
✓ Acvaon: You should acvate the oil heater at least twelve hours before the start-up by
turning ON the main switch.
