In case of ooding:
• Do not approach any baery module that is submerged in
water as it may pose an electrocuon hazard.
• If feasible and safe, drain the water in the area to protect
your HomeGrid system.
• If water reaches the baery, contact your installer for
inspecon. If the water is below the baery, thoroughly dry
the site of your HomeGrid baery system before use.
In case of re:
• If possible, safely shut o the baery modules and BMS
module using the Shung Down procedure listed on page
16. Ensure that all solar power system components are shut
o.
• Evacuate to a safe area.
• Contact 911 as soon as it is safe to do so.
• If it is safe, ulize approved re exnguishing devices.

Remove the side panels of the BMS and each module,
displaying the ON/OFF switch for each individual baery
module.
Starng with the very boom module, turn ON each baery
module from boom to top.
Press the power buon ON, located on the top BMS module
(near the LCD display).
Safely ensure that solar power is coming through the inverter to
supply power.
Remove the side panels of each module, displaying the ON/
OFF switch for each individual baery module.
Press the power buon OFF, located on the top BMS module
(near the LCD display).
Starng with the very top module, turn on each baery module
from top to boom.
Safely ensure that solar power is not coming through the
inverter to the baery.
In the event of any hazardous situaon that poses a risk
to health and safety, please adhere to the recommended
procedures below:
For general emergencies:
• Immediately evacuate to a safe area
• Once it is safe to do so, contact 911 for immediate
assistance
