During the installaon and maintenance of the
HomeGrid Stack’d Series, it is crucial to prevent
the inseron of foreign objects between baery
modules.
Throughout the ulizaon, storage, and
transportaon of the HomeGrid Stack’d Series,
it is crucial to maintain the ambient temperature
below 140°F (60°C). This precauonary measure
guarantees the opmal performance and longevity
of the equipment while migang any potenal
risks associated with excessive heat.
Exclusively ulize parts or accessories that have
been procured from HomeGrid or a cered
HomeGrid supplier. This ensures compability,
reliability, and compliance with necessary standards.
Maintain a safe distance from any materials that are
ammable or explosive.
Implement protecve measures to prevent access
by children.
Refrain from acvang the modules before
connecng the system to the PV and grid. Failure to
follow this guideline may lead to baery depleon
due to an extended period without charging. If the
system is to be dormant, the whole system should
be turned completely OFF for that period of me.
Safety Instrucons- Warning & Danger Statements
The HomeGrid Stack’d Series consists of electrical
equipment that, if not used correctly, can pose
risks such as electrical shock and re hazards. It is
essenal to note that any misuse of the equipment
may result in the warranty becoming void. Only
electricians who are cered and qualied by
HomeGrid should be entrusted with the installaon,
maintenance, or replacement of HomeGrid’s
equipment or wiring. It is imperave for them to
wear appropriate personal protecve equipment
(PPE) while performing any operaons.
To prevent any inadvertent operaonal errors, it is
essenal to disconnect and securely padlock the
upstream and downstream switches during the
installaon or maintenance process.
In the event that the HomeGrid Stack’d Series
exhibits signs such as electrolyte leakage, smoking,
or re, and it is deemed unsafe to proceed, take
immediate acon to disconnect the DC power
from the system. Addionally, ensure to turn
o the Baery Management System (BMS) and
power down all modules to halt the charging
and discharging processes of the baery system.
This precauonary measure aims to migate
any potenal risks and safeguard against further
damage.
As some components of the Stack’d Series weight
about 110 lbs, it is highly recommended that 2
people install the system together. Having an
assistant present serves as a precauonary measure
to migate risks and address any unforeseen
circumstances eecvely.
