During the installaon and maintenance of the
HomeGrid Stack’d Series, it is crucial to prevent
the inseron of foreign objects between baery
modules.
Throughout the ulizaon, storage, and
transportaon of the HomeGrid Stack’d Series,
it is crucial to maintain the ambient temperature
below 140°F (60°C). This precauonary measure
guarantees the opmal performance and longevity
of the equipment while migang any potenal
risks associated with excessive heat.
Exclusively ulize parts or accessories that have
been procured from HomeGrid or a cered
HomeGrid supplier. This ensures compability,
reliability, and compliance with necessary standards.
Maintain a safe distance from any materials that are
ammable or explosive.
Implement protecve measures to prevent access
by children.
Refrain from acvang the modules before
connecng the system to the PV and grid. Failure to
follow this guideline may lead to baery depleon
due to an extended period without charging. If the
system is to be dormant, the whole system should
be turned completely OFF for that period of me.
Safety Instrucons- Warning & Danger Statements
The HomeGrid Stack’d Series consists of electrical
equipment that, if not used correctly, can pose
risks such as electrical shock and re hazards. It is
essenal to note that any misuse of the equipment
may result in the warranty becoming void. Only
electricians who are cered and qualied by
HomeGrid should be entrusted with the installaon,
maintenance, or replacement of HomeGrid’s
equipment or wiring. It is imperave for them to
wear appropriate personal protecve equipment
(PPE) while performing any operaons.
To prevent any inadvertent operaonal errors, it is
essenal to disconnect and securely padlock the
upstream and downstream switches during the
installaon or maintenance process.
In the event that the HomeGrid Stack’d Series
exhibits signs such as electrolyte leakage, smoking,
or re, and it is deemed unsafe to proceed, take
immediate acon to disconnect the DC power
from the system. Addionally, ensure to turn
o the Baery Management System (BMS) and
power down all modules to halt the charging
and discharging processes of the baery system.
This precauonary measure aims to migate
any potenal risks and safeguard against further
damage.
As some components of the Stack’d Series weight
about 110 lbs, it is highly recommended that 2
people install the system together. Having an
assistant present serves as a precauonary measure
to migate risks and address any unforeseen
circumstances eecvely.
