9.4 Mounting front device
Note: Set the BUS-2 address first
before attaching the front
device into the back cover.
Please refer to chapter 10.
After connecting and setting the BUS-2
address, the front device is first inserted
from above into the back cover.
Close the front device, making sure that
no connection cables are trapped.
It must be possible to close the front
device easily using the threaded lugs on
the back cover housing.
9.5 Fasten front device
Use the two M3x10 screws to screw the
front device to the back cover housing.
9.6 Seal housing
Seal the housing after correctly mounting
and testing the system. Press the VdS
adhesive label (Item no. 050097) over
the both screws.
10. Set/change BUS-2 address
- Set address during „start up“ or pre-configuration
The BUS-2 address must be set during the initial commissioning of devices delivered from the
factory. This is done by when theapplying the operating voltage tamper contact is open,
that is, when the front device is removed.
- Connect the operating voltage.
- Wait until the TochScreen ControlPanel initializes.
- Wait until the login window is displayed.
- Press , call the menü"OK" Setup

Select the input field for setting the BUS-2 address.

Adjustable address range: .00 to 63
The BUS-2 address will be stored permanently even when disconnection the operating
voltage.
