General Procedure
Plan the System
1.
Review the

ob file, plans and specifications for accu-

and completeness.
2.
Prepare an

Select the devices for the s

Select the location for each device and point.

Install the System
1.
Pull the wires.
2.
Mount the e

uipment.
3.
Connect the wires to each input device, output device,
and point.

All device terminals accept 24 to 18 AWG

Connect power to each RIPS and CU.

Measure the volta

e and current draw on each power
circuit.
System Checkout
1.
Check the volta

e on each device.

Set the loop confi

uration and other parameters for
each device.

ured for input.
4.
Make sure all loops are normal
