Mange I/O
To view these settings:
From the printer Main Menu, select Settings > System Settings > Manage I/O.
From the printer web page, click Configure > System Settings > Manage I/O.
Manage Services
Note: You will only see Manage Services from the menus if you have an Ethernet or
Wireless module installed in the printer.
To view these services:
From the printer Main Menu, select Settings > System Settings > Manage
Services.
From the printer web page, go to Configure > System Settings > Manage
Services.
System I/O
Setting
Description Default
Ethernet Determines if the printer is allowed to communicate using Ethernet
communications.
Enable
Wireless 802.11 Determines if the printer is allowed to communicate using its 802.11
radio. Supported only if the optional Wi-Fi module is installed.
Enable
Bluetooth Determines if the printer is allowed to communicate using its 802.11
radio. Supported only if the optional Wi-Fi+Bluetooth module is
installed.
Enable
RFID Determines if the printer is allowed to communicate using its RFID
radio. Supported only if the RFID module is installed.
Enable
Virtual COM Determines if you can enable the USB port to be used as a virtual
serial port. When you change this setting, you must restart the
printer to enable the new setting.
Disable
Cellular Modem Determines if the Cellular Modem is enabled in the printer when it is
inserted.

Description Default
Web Server Determines if the web server is enabled in the printer. Enable
FTP Determines if the printer can use File Transfer Protocol. Disable
Net1 Determines if the printer can use Telnet to communicate with
Fingerprint.

SNMP Determines if the printer can use SNMP. Enable
LPR Determines if the printer can use the line printer server (LPR)
daemon.

IKEv2 Determines if the printer can use IKEv2. Disable
