Onpowerup,selecteitherthestandbyortestmode.Whenpowerisfirst
applied, the radaris inWAITmodefor45seconds to let themagnetron
warm up. Power sequences ON--OFF--ON lasting less than the initial
45--second wait result in a 6--second wait period.
Afterwarm--up,selecttheTESTmodeandverifythattheweatherradar
test pattern shown in figure B--2 for the PFD, and figure B--3 for the
MFD, is displayed. Check the function of the TGT control.
