Note:
The port numbers for the panel configuration screen refer to the ports on a
PW-5000 IC. The following table illustrates the correlation between ports on the
PW-5000 and the PW-6000.
B.6 SNET Reader from PW-6000 2-Reader Board
Use the PW-6000 2-reader board to connect one SNET reader to each Wiegand port
on the 2-reader board. Up to 2 SNET readers can be connected to this board.
When using this configuration, the following rules apply:
• This configuration is one-to-one.
• Two readers can be connected to the PW-6000 2 reader board.
• There may be one SNET reader per Wiegand port.
• Only SNET address 1 can be used.
• Readers may be powered from the IC.
• The reader board must be configured with firmware that supports SNET.
