5. Use a tool to release the board from the computer (5). The board is secured with adhesive.
To install the transfer board, reverse this procedure.
Touchpad
To remove the touchpad, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 33).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 33).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 42).
4. Remove the bottom speakers (see Bottom speakers on page 44).
Remove the touchpad:
1. Disconnect the touchpad cable from the touchpad ZIF connector (1).
2. Gently pull up to release the keyboard cable from the long strip of adhesive that secures it to the top of
the touchpad (2).
