3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 42).
4. Remove the system board (see System board and audio jack on page 50).
5. Remove the antenna barrel (see Antenna barrel on page 53).
Remove the display assembly:

To remove the display assembly:
a. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (1) from each hinge.
b. Open the computer (2), and then separate the computer from the display (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the display assembly.
Display hinges
To remove the display hinges, use these procedures and illustrations. The display back cover with leather
(spare part number N22920-001) remains after removing all other spare parts from the display.
Before removing the display hinges, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 33).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 33).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 42).
4. Remove the display panel (see Display panel and subcomponents on page 56).
5. Remove the system board (see System board and audio jack on page 50).
6. Remove the antenna barrel (see Antenna barrel on page 53).
7. Remove the display assembly from the computer (see Display assembly on page 72).
