4. Remove the solid-state drive (4) by pulling the drive away from the slot at an angle.
5. Thoroughly clean the thermal material from the surfaces of the solid-state drive slot (1) and the
solid-state drive shield (2) each time you remove the solid-state drive and shield. Replacement
solid-state drive thermal material is available in the Solid-State Drive Thermal Pad Kit, spare part
number N91032-001. The following illustration shows the replacement thermal material locations.
To replace the solid-state drive, reverse the removal procedures.
NOTE: The solid-state drive is designed with a notch to prevent incorrect insertion.
