Recovering a corrupted application
Use a terminal emulation session to recover the application using TFTP. If the main application and the
backup application are corrupt, the following screen appears:
To recover the application:
1. Enter 1 to select TFTP Upgrade.
2. Enter a temporary MAC address.
3. Enter an IP address that you can access using a host computer running a TFTPD server.
4. Enter the subnet mask.
5. Enter the TFTPD server IP address. HP recommends using the TFTPD server available at
http://tftpd32.jounin.net/tftpd32_download.html

).
6. Be sure that the image.bin file is in the current directory, and then confirm the download. The file is
flashed.
7. When prompted, press Enter to reboot. After rebooting, the application is recovered.
