Action: Press the Reset button on the Core Unit. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service
provider.
The following table lists the error conditions:

Device names display incorrectly
Action: Before swapping or moving devices or Extension Bars across load segments, clear the manually
entered information on the Outlet Device Assignment screen ("Outlet Device Assignment menu" on page
45).
Devices are not discovered
Action:
1. Be sure you are using the PLC power cables with bright blue connectors.
2. Secure all cables using the power cord retention brackets. This cable management system ensures
that the connector pins do not bend and that the power cables are securely connected.
Discovered data appears as manual entry data
Symptom: On the Outlet Device Assignment screen, automatically discovered data appears as manual
entry data.
Action: If the device is still connected to the outlet, power on the device. The data appears as
automatically discovered.
If the device is no longer connected to the outlet, clear the data manually.
Display Unit LED indicator illuminates or flashes
Symptom: The Display Unit LED indicator that is visible when the rack door is closed is:
• Permanently on—Warning alarm
• Flashing—Critical alarm
Action: View the Alarms screen ("Alarms menu" on page 40) for more information about the active alarm.
