Check the send-fax resolution settings
If the printer was unable to send a fax because the receiving fax machine did not answer or was busy, the
printer attempts to redial based on the redial-on-busy, redial-on-no-answer, and redial-on-communication-
error options.
NOTE: The steps vary according to the type of control panel.

1. On the printer control panel, press the Setup
button.
2. Open the following menus:

Fax Setup
●
Send Fax Setup
●
Def. Resolution
3. Select a resolution setting, and then press OK.
Touchscreen control panels
1. From the Home screen on the printer control panel, swipe until the Setup menu displays. Touch the
Setup
icon to open the menu.
2. Open the following menus:

Fax Setup
●
Advanced Setup
●
Fax Resolution
3. Select a resolution setting, and then touch OK.
