Reverse this procedure to install the transfer board.

Webcam

Before removing the webcam, follow these steps:

1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is o or in Hibernation, turn

the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

3. Disconnect the power from the computer by rst unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then

unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

4. Remove the display panel (see Display panel on page 25).

Remove the webcam:

1. Disconnect the left webcam cable (1) from the transfer board.

2. Release the left webcam cable from the retention clips (2) built into the display back cover.

3. Disconnect the right webcam cable (3) from the transfer board.

4. Release the right webcam cable from the retention clip (4) built into the display back cover.

5. Remove the three Phillips M2.5×2.3 broad head screws (5) that secure the webcam and support bracket to

the display back cover.

6. Remove the webcam support bracket (6).
