If necessary, increase resources as needed (for example, the amount of cache, the number of paths between primary and secondary systems, the parity groups for journal volumes, etc.). Restore the failed pairs (Pairresync).

Clear all error conditions at the primary storage system, the P-VOL, the secondary storage system, and the S-VOL. Reformat failed tracks using ICKDSF, and restart the initial copy operation using the Add Pair dialog box.
