Route the peripheral cables and power cords through the cable clamps.
6. Close the cable clamps.
7. Verify the operation of the rack rails:
Two people might be needed for this procedure: one to slide the chassis in and out of the rack, and the other to observe the rear panel
cables and power cords.
a. Fully extend the chassis out of the rack.
b. Check that there is enough slack in the cables and cords for full extension of the chassis. Make sure that there is no cable binding or
crimping.
c. To ensure that the cables and cords are secured properly, slide the chassis in and out of the rack. Make sure that there is no risk of
accidental disconnection of the peripheral cables and power cords.
