Huawei AR Series - 4.4 Scenario 4: Installing the Router in a Cabinet (Using a 550 Horizontal Rack-Mounting Kit)

NOTE
l The length of six adjacent mounting holes may not be 2 U. Observe the scale ticks on the mounting
rails when installing floating nuts.
l You can use a flat-head screwdriver to install floating nuts.

Step 5 Install the router in the cabinet.
1. Use the Phillips screwdriver to install M6 screws on the two lower floating nuts, and
leave 2 mm of the screws out of the floating nuts.
2. Move the router into the cabinet with one hand supporting bottom of the router, and hook
the brackets at both sides of the mounting kit on the M6 screws.
3. Use the Phillips screwdriver to tighten the lower M6 screws and then the upper M6
screws.
