6.4 Establishing the WPS Connection
The Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a standard used to set up a wireless network in
an easy and secure way. If traditional methods are used, you must enter the name of
the wireless local area network (WLAN), that is, the service set identifier (SSID) and
the security key from the access point and the device, to prevent unauthorized access
to the WLAN. If the WPS standard is used, you do not need to know the SSID and the
security key because they will be set from the access point and the device
automatically.
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Settings > WLAN > WPS Settings.
Step 2 From WPS Mode,
Select client-pin, and enter the device's WPS PIN in WPS PIN.
Select ap-pin, enter the WPS PIN that shown in the WPS PIN in the device's
WPS textbox.
You can also refresh the client-pin by click Generate PIN.
Step 3 Click Apply.
