Step 2 From SIM PIN operation, select Modify.
Step 3 Enter the current SIM PIN.
Step 4 Enter a new SIM PIN and confirm the SIM PIN.

7.3 Validating the SIM PIN
If SIM personal identification number (PIN) verification is enabled, you are required to
enter the SIM PIN at each startup of the Smart Hub to verify whether the SIM is valid.
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Settings > Security > SIM PIN Management.
Step 2 From SIM PIN operation, select Validate.
Step 3 Enter the correct SIM PIN.
Step 4 Click Apply.

7.4 Enabling or Disabling Automatic SIM PIN Verification
If SIM personal identification number (PIN) protection is enabled, you can enable or
disable automatic SIM PIN verification. If this verification is enabled, the SIM PIN is
remembered and the Smart Hub passes the verification automatically at each startup.
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Settings > Security > SIM PIN Code Auto Validation.
Step 2 Select:
Enable: to enable automatic SIM PIN verification.
Disable: to disable automatic SIM PIN verification.
Step 3 Enter the correct SIM PIN.
Step 4 Click Apply.
