7 Fire Extinguishing System
7.1 Overview

● If the pre-fab. module catches re, the extinguishant control panel sends dry contact signals
in the rst stage alarm to the access actuator to release the access control.
● If the pre-fab. module catches re, the extinguishant control panel sends 24 V DC signals in
the second stage alarm to the power distribution box used for switching o non-re
extinguishing loads. Then the shunt release trips and the fresh air fan shuts down.
If the pre-fab. module catches re, smoke and heat will trigger the smoke and
heat detectors, which will send re alarm signals to the extinguishant control
panel. Upon receiving the
re alarm signals, the extinguishant control panel
counts down and then opens the electrical actuator on the re extinguisher so
that the
re cylinder discharges extinguishing agent to the protection zone. At the
same time, the extinguishant control panel automatically reports alarms.
