Installing a Drainpipe

(1) Drainpipe connector: BSPT 1/2-inch, delivered with the smart cooling product
(2) Rigid pipe conversion adapter: BSPP 1/2-inch inner screw thread to rigid pipe connector,
engineering procurement
(3) Rigid pipe: made of PP-R or other material, engineering procurement
(4) Pagoda conversion adapter: BSPP 1/2-inch inner screw thread to pagoda connector,
engineering procurement
(5) Hose clamp, engineering procurement
(6) Hose: made of EPDM or other material, engineering procurement

In upward pipe routing, install the check valve, engineering hose, and drainpipe connector by
performing steps 2–4. In downward pipe routing, install the drainpipe connector by
performing step 4.
•
The drainpipe inside the indoor unit should be wrapped with the thermal insulation pipe in
accessories.
•
The drainpipes must have gradients (> 1:50), and stagnant water is not allowed.
