5.1 Precautions
l Before installing multiple components, read the installation instructions for all the
components and identify similar actions to simply the installation process.
l Wait until overheating devices have cooled down before touching them to avoid injury.
l Properly ground the server before installation to avoid damage to electronic components
from electrostatic discharge. Improper grounding may cause electrostatic discharge.
l Before touching a device, wear ESD clothing and ESD gloves (or wrist strap) and
remove conductive objects (such as watches and jewelry).
