5.2.6 Installing a Mezzanine Card
Procedure
Step 1 Power off the compute node.
For details, see 3.1 Power-Off Procedure.
Step 2 Remove the compute node.
For details, see 3.3 Removing a CH121 V5.
Step 3 Place the compute node on the ESD workstation.
Step 4 Remove the cover.
For details, see 3.5 Removing the Cover.
Step 5 Take the spare part out of its ESD bag.
Step 6 Determine the position of the mezzanine card.

Step 7 Install the mezzanine cards.
1. Align the lower mezzanine card with the positioning holes and metallic studs on the
mounting base, and press the mezzanine card vertically downwards into the connector on
the mainboard. See (1) in Figure 5-10.
2. Tighten the two captive screws c and d (shown in Figure 5-10) to secure the lower
mezzanine card.
3. Align the upper mezzanine card with the positioning holes and metallic studs on the
mounting base, and press the mezzanine card vertically downwards into the connector on
the mainboard. See (2) in Figure 5-10.
