Step 5 Take the spare part out of its ESD bag.
Step 6 Determine the position of the supercapacitor.

Step 7 Install the supercapacitor holder.
1. Place the supercapacitor holder vertically on the RAID controller card. See (1) in Figure
5-7.
2. Align the screws of the supercapacitor holder with the screw holes on the RAID
controller card, and tighten the screws. See (2) in Figure 5-7.
