3. Place the removed filler panel in an accessory recycle bin.
Step 3 Install the compute node.
To prevent device damage or personal injury, hold the bottom of the device with both hands
when installing it.
1. Install a partition board.
NOTE
Install a partition board between two half-width compute nodes. Perform this operation only when
no partition board is installed between two half-width compute nodes.
a. Tilt the partition board to the chassis, insert it into the installation holes, and make it
upright. See (1) and (2) in Figure 3-8.
b. Pull the partition board outwards. See (3) and (4) in Figure 3-8.
The partition board is properly installed when you hear a click.
