1. Log in to the web management page.
2. Choose Maintain tab.
3. In the navigation tree, choose Device Management .
4. Select Factory Restore configuration page.
5. Click Restore .
6. In the displayed dialog box, click OK .
Upgrading Firmware
The HG658 V2 supports upgrade firmware through the web management page. Before upgrading the
firmware, please download the latest firmware of the HG658 V2 at the Huawei's official website.
Caution
To avoid any damage to the HG658 V2, do not power off the HG658 V2 when it is being
upgraded.
1. Log in to the web management page.
2. Choose Maintain tab.
3. In the navigation tree, choose Device Management .
4. Select Firmware Upgrade configuration page.
5. Click Browse... , and select the latest firmware you download at the Huawei's official website.
6. Click Upgrade .
After the firmware is upgraded, the login page is displayed. Reenter to log in.
Using Ping Tool Diagnose Network
HG658 V2 supports the Ping function. You can check the connection between the HG658 V2 and
other hosts (including network equipment) connection, such as the connectivity or delay and etc
between the HG658 V2 and other hosts.
1. Log in to the web management page.
2. Choose Maintain tab.
