value is valid only if the conductors of the PE cable and AC power cable use the
same material. If the materials are dierent, ensure that the conductor cross-sectional area of the
PE cable produces a conductance equivalent to that specied in this table. The specications of
the PE cable are subject to this table or calculated according to IEC 60364-5-54.
5.3 Connecting a PE Cable

The grounding shall comply with the local electrical safety regulations.
It is recommended that the Smart PCS be connected to a nearby ground point.
The ground points of all Smart PCSs in the same array need to be connected to
ensure equipotential bonding for PE cables.
The ground point in the AC maintenance compartment serves only as the
equipotential bonding point for the PE point and cannot replace the PE point of
the enclosure.
Procedure
Step 1 Connect the PE cable.
