5.8.1 Connecting FE Communications Cables
● If the SmartACU2000D-D-06 is used, connect the Smart PCSs to the
SmartACU through FE communications cables. Ensure that the two ends are
connected to G2–G7 of the SmartACU (SWITCH02). A maximum of three ring
networks are supported.
● If the SmartACU2000D-D-00, SmartACU2000D-D-01, or SmartACU2000D-
D-03 is used, connect the Smart PCSs to the SmartModule through FE
communications cables. Ensure that the two ends are connected to GE2 and
GE3 of the SmartModule. A maximum of one ring network is supported.
NO TE
The SmartACU2000D-D-00 and SmartACU2000D-D-01 can be congured with the
SmartModule optionally. The SmartACU2000D-D-03 is congured with the
SmartModule by default.
