● Rear bracket-mounted:
Install the PE cable on either the AC side or the DC side.

Follow-up Procedure
To enhance the corrosion resistance of a ground terminal, apply silicone grease or
paint on it after connecting the PE cable.
5.4 Installing DC Power Cables
Precautions
Before connecting the DC power cables, check the following items:
● Ensure that the external switches on the DC and AC sides of the Smart PCS
are turned o.
● Check the polarities of the cables and label them properly.
● The cable outer diameter can be measured using the ruler sticker in the
maintenance compartment.
● Ensure that the cable jacket is in the maintenance compartment.
● Ensure that the DC power cables are connected securely. Otherwise, the
Smart PCS may fail to operate, or be overheated in operation due to
unreliable connection, which will damage the terminal block.
● When installing cables, ensure that the cables do not contact the screws in
the maintenance compartment.
● Do not pull the cables horizontally after they have been secured, as this
may damage the wiring terminals.
